One person was killed and two others were injured in three separate shootings across the Houston area Christmas Eve.

The first shooting happened in East Downtown at about 6:30pm on Christmas Eve. The victim died at the hospital, and the alleged shooter turned himself into claim self defense after an argument.

In West Houston, a person is in critical condition, discovered with a gunshot wound after crashing a car into a pole. Police found several shell casings and determined that some sort of altercation had taken place in the parking lot. No arrests have been made in the case.

And a man is critically injured after being shot by unknown suspects in southeast Houston. This took place right around 1am. There are no arrests in this incident, either.
