HFD says one person was found dead inside a collapsed apartment building following a fire at a complex in southwest Houston.
According to our tv partner KPRC channel 2, the call came in at 4:52 p.m. from the Westmount at Braesridge Apartments located at 11100 Braesridge.
The fire, which was upgraded to a 2-alarm fire, spread over 3 buildings, and officials say they believe the fire began either on the roof or on the third floor of one of the buildings.
Two people were treated for smoke inhalation, but no firefighters were injured.
