The U.S. Supreme Court has agreed to hear President Trump's case to end birthright citizenship. Not only is it going to be one of the top stories of 2026, Fox News columnist Liz Peek says it's going to be a great opportunity.
"I think this case being held by the Court, if the Trump White House is smart they will take advantage of that and say, let's do other things. Let's create a legal immigration system that most Americans would agree with" Peek said.
It could lead to a MAGA win on immigration, that needs to put America first.
"Every great president has a signature issue" Peek told KTRH, "President Trump has the opportunity to do that because a lot of what he's talked about is very popular."
This case is also going to very popular, when it's heard next spring.
"If you really want to cut down on people coming across our border illegally, you've got to reduce the enticements for them to do so, and this is a huge enticement" noted Peek, "Free education, free health care, free housing even down the road, so this is worth a gazillion dollars."
And it will be worth it to Trump to finally try and fix our broken immigration system.
