Senate Majority leader John Thune has rejected Chuck Schumer's offer to re-open the government, in exchange for a year of Obamacare subsidies. (what happened to the 'affordable'?)
The Dems weak proposal was called a "non-starter".
On day #38 of the Schumer Shutdown, Thune told the media that he has advised members to not go home, and to be available to work this weekend.
Hopefully that's a good sign.
