The White House website has officially launched a new page dedicated to exposing the many criminal illegal aliens who have been receiving taxpayer-funded Medicaid benefits. The page currently features nearly 140 mugshots of illegal aliens from countries like Mexico, Panama, and even China.
Republicans have called out this issue for months, with many expecting it played a role in the record-setting government shutdown. But Democrats have continued to insist that illegal aliens can't and don't receive any federal funds from Medicaid or other similar programs.
Christopher Russo with Texans for Strong Borders pointed out that while there may be laws on the books against illegal aliens receiving Medicaid, that hasn't stopped them. He said, "The federal benefits system is not airtight, especially when it's administered through states that do not care about illegal immigration at all."
Russo also called out more recent claims from the left that even if some illegal aliens are on Medicaid, it's likely a very small number. He said, "Even a small percentage is a very significant amount of money going from taxpayers to people who should not even be in this country."
He added that even one illegal alien being on Medicaid is completely unacceptable and says the fact that the left is ignoring or even outright denying the issue is laughable.
