On Day 35 of the Democrat led government shutdown, the ground delays at both Bush & Hobby airports have returned due to staffing.
According to Houston Airports officials, the Bush Intercontinental Airport's ground delay will begin at 4:30 p.m. and will last until 9:30 p.m.tonight.
The Hobby Airport's ground delay is set to begin at 5 p.m. and is scheduled to go until 9 p.m.
If you are traveling out of Bush or Hobby Airport, contact your flight carrier for additional questions or concerns. Be sure and double check your flights or arrivals.
Houston Airports also says that TSA delays on Wednesday may exceed 45 minutes at Bush and 20 minutes at Hobby.
