In what can only be called a sign of the times, there's a new app and AI chatbot that allows people to talk with Biblical figures, including the Lord Jesus.
"I think it's a dangerous game to play, to think that you're having a conversation with Jesus through ChatGPT or AI" said Ray Clark, young adults pastor at Grace Church Houston, "People are having legit conversations with ChatGPT. That chat, that artificial intelligence is not the almighty God, and I would not trust everything that ChatGPT has to say."
Instead of using an app, why not go to church and meet the real Jesus for yourself?
"I think that people do need to get out of their home, go to church, encounter Jesus, and get to know Jesus for yourself" Clark told KTRH, "Don't let AI tell you who Jesus is."
As the writer of the book of Hebrews penned in verses 10:24-25, And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.
Believers are called to worship together in unity, not home alone on a phone.
