Photo Bomb: Woke Mob Blasts Gayle King-Jesse Watters Selfie

Just over nine months into the second Trump presidency, and the left is becoming more unhinged by the day. When they aren't freaking out over President Trump's new White House ballroom, the woke mob is busy attacking CBS host Gayle King for having the audacity to sit next to a Fox News host on an airplane. King posted a friendly selfie with Fox News' Jesse Watters last week as the two were seatmates on a long flight. The left's reaction was predictably crazy, particularly among users of the liberal platform Bluesky. They called King "tone deaf," accused her of trying to curry favor with new CBS News president Bari Weiss, and said she has "no principles." As for Watters, he was called a liar and---you guessed it---a Nazi.

TMZ host Harvey Levin, reviewing the incident on last week's show, was shocked at the response. "People are just hating her for it," he exclaimed. "Do you really want to hate half the country? Or can you say look, we fundamentally disagree? They got along! Are they supposed to say I hate you, move my seat?"

Michelle Tafoya, former ESPN and NBC Sports reporter, told her podcast that the photo is something positive we should celebrate. "I applaud (King) for posting it," said Tafoya. "It shows that she is human and that he is human and that they can smile together and take a selfie. And nobody got hurt, except the people who decided that they want their feelings hurt."

Comedian and podcast host Adam Corolla perhaps summed up the King-Watters situation best on his show, noting how the right and left view political differences. "Let's say Don Jr. is taking a picture with Jimmy Kimmel...according to the people that watch, Don. Jr. is taking a picture with someone he disagrees with, but Jimmy Kimmel is taking a picture with Hitler...which is a much greater offense," said Corolla. "So more protesting comes from the left, because they're the ones that call the other person Hitler."
