Two people are reported killed after a plane crash in northwest Harris County on Sunday afternoon.
The plane was just off the runway at Hooks Memorial Airport near the intersection of Stuebner Airline and FM 2920 when it began to dive to the ground, then caught fire in the crash.
The fire caught some nearby trees and bushes on fire, according to witnesses, but firefighters were called and they had the fires out shortly after arriving.
The two on board have not been identified, according to Harris County Sheriff's investigators.
The plane is said to have been a Cessna 340, a twin-engine light aircraft normally used for business travel.
