A woman shot a man on a northwest Houston street following an incident on a METRO bus, and police are trying to find her.
Investigators say the bus was moving along Antoine near the intersection with Pinemont about 9:20 Tuesday morning when a man assaulted the bus driver during an argument, then got off when the bus stopped.
He was followed by a woman who apparently had nothing to do with the assault, but then she fired a gun at the assaulter as he walked away.
The bus driver was later treated for minor injuries but the man who was shot ended up at a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The woman left the scene, and now both Houston Police and METRO police are trying to find her.
She was last seen wearing a black shirt and grey pants, according to investigators, who speculate she may have had an argument with the victim.
