San Antonio first responders now say that five people have been found dead in the flooding. Chief William McManus says that thirteen people were discovered in flood waters. Two of the dead are male. The other two are female. Four others were transported to the hospital. At least two people remain missing.
The San Antonio Fire Department says it responded to 65 calls for high water rescues and 24 major crashes during the storms.
Other reports say that there was a driver who abandoned a stolen car during the height of the storms.
According to CPS, outages peaked at 30,000, but have now fallen down to 5,500. CPS leaders are now asking for patience as their crews work to address the outages.
