Three Mayoral Races Highlight Saturday Runoff Elections in Texas

Polls open at 7am for runoff elections in municipal races.

Across Houston, the biggest races are Mayoral runoffs in Sugar Land and Pasadena. The race to replace Joe Zimmerman in Sugar Land is between between William Ferguson and Carol McCutcheon.

The biggest race in the state is the one in San Antonio to replace Mayor Ron Nirenberg. Republican Rolando Pablos, the former Texas Secretary of State is facing Gina Ortiz Jones in a race that has attracted a lot of attention and a lot of outside money.

Polls are open from 7am to 7pm. Remember, you need your ID to vote.
