A man and a woman were found dead in a home in northeast Harris County Friday night, and now deputies are calling it a "double homicide."
Neighbors called sheriff's deputies after noticing that the man and woman had not been seen in a day or so, according to the Harris County Sheriff's Department.
When officers arrived at the home north of Bush Intercontinental airport, they found the bodies of the two, who were a married couple, inside the home.
Neighbors told investigators that the night before the called authorities, the neighbors had heard gunshots coming from the vicinity of the home.
The couple were killed by gunshots, it was determined, after investigators searched the home in the 4000 block of Fitzwater, near the Hardy Toll Road at FM 1960.
No suspects have been arrested, and few details about the couple -- other than they were "elderly" -- have been released.
