A grocery store in northwest Harris County was closed for several hours on Saturday afternoon because of a bomb threat.
Employees at the HEB supermarket along Jones Rd. at West Rd. received a phone call a little before 3 pm, saying there was bomb on the premises, according to officials.
Shoppers and employees were asked to leave the store when Harris County Sheriff's deputies were called in.
Explosives specialists and bomb-sniffing dogs then searched the store but found nothing threatening.
The store was reopened about 7 pm Saturday.
