At least four people are injured after being shot outside of an after-hours club in southeast Houston.
According to HPD assistant chief James Bryant, the shooting happened at around 3:30 Sunday morning in the 12900 block of Nayack Drive. He said initial reports are that an SUV-type vehicle drove by the location and opened fire on a group of people. There was about 15-20 people standing outside the establishment with more people inside.
Four people were hit by gunfire. Two of those victims were transported to a local hospital in critical/stable condition. The other two were treated for non-life threatening injuries.
Assistant chief Bryant said it appears the shooting had happened at an after-hours club.
"We are in the initial stages of the investigation and we can't confirm that right now but it appears as if they were operating as an after-hours establishment," he said.
At this time, there is no clear motive or known suspect(s).
