One person is dead and at least seven people were shot at a large gathering at a northeast Harris County gas station.
It happened at around 10 p.m. Saturday night at a gas station on Crosby-Lynchburg Road near the Crosby Freeway. Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez said nearly 100 people were in the parking lot when deputies arrived on scene.
The seven people included five men and two women. The victims ranged from 16 to 25 years old. Two people were flown to a hospital and the other five were taken either by private vehicle or by ambulance. One person was pronounced dead at the hospital.
HCSO said they have not identified any suspects in this shooting or recovered the weapon or weapons used in it.
