More disturbing news out of the radical left: according to a new survey conducted by the Network of Contagion Research Institute and Rutgers University’s Social Perception Lab, as many as 55% of self-identified leftists say killing President Trump is justifiable.
This is a harrowing warning sign that the radical left is finally starting to crack after Trump’s landslide victory in November of last year. And it’s worth noting that this news comes after Trump has already survived two assassination attempts.
Matt Kittle, senior elections correspondent at The Federalist, pointed out that, "We’ve been politically divided for a long time, but Trump 2.0 has sent the unhinged left over the violent edge."
He went on to say that this is the predictable result of the fact that for the better part of the last ten years, both the left and their friends in the mainstream media have been normalizing political violence. He said, "We’re seeing this in real time with the hatred for Elon Musk. Overheated rhetoric turning into violent action."
The worst part is, there could be more violence on the horizon. Kittle warned that, "Unfortunately, on the left, because Democrats are not in power, they seem to want to do anything to get back into power."
He pointed to examples like the 2018 congressional baseball shooting and even the American Civil War as examples of where the dangerous path that we are currently on could lead us.
