The stock market took another beating in the second day since President Trump's sweeping tariffs were announced.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 2,231.07 points, or 5.5%, to 38,314.86 on Friday. It's the biggest decline since June 2020 during the pandemic. On, Thursday, it dropped 1,679 points, marking the first time ever that the Dow lost more than 1,500 points on back-to-back days.
The S&P 500 saw its biggest decline since March 2020 when it sunk 5.97% to 5,074.08 on Friday.
The Nasdaq Composite went down 5.8%, to 15,587.79 after a near 6% drop on Thursday.
