In what is -not- breaking news, there's a new survey that finds that most Americans don't trust the media to accurately cover Trump. And it should not be a surprise.
"The establishment media just has not figured out that a continuous stream of Trump bashing, doesn't come off as fair or objective news" said Jeffrey McCall, professor and director of media studies at DePauw University, "And I think what this survey is showing us is that activism is just not a healthy news agenda, and that's why more Americans trust Trump, than the establishment media."
According to study conducted by YouGov, only 29% have trust in the media, and even that seems high.
"Trump, to be sure is mercurial and makes mistakes" McCall told KTRH, "But the ABC's, the New York Times, and the CNN's just refuse to cover or put in context things that Trump might be doing right."
A prime example of that was the successful return of the two stranded astronauts. A story that was basically ignored by the legacy media, because it would have shown a positive light on Elon Musk and Space X.
Professor McCall also points out that over the last several years, president Trump has pretty much been right on all of the major issues while the media has gotten it wrong, and he wonders how much longer many of them will be able to stay in business.
