After last weeks decision by the U.S. Supreme Court, a ruling that some called shocking, after SCOTUS said that a lower federal D.C. district court could force the Trump administration to pay $2 billion in federal grants that they tried to cut under 'DOGE'.
Many conservatives are calling the high court's decision, unconstitutional.
"It really is a violation of the separation of powers in our constitution" said John Daniel Davidson, senior editor with The Federalist, "These federal judges do not have the authority or the competence, essentially to govern the executive branch from the federal bench."
But that's what the Dems have been doing for years. And some say it's time for Trump to just ignore the U.S. Supreme Court, just like Joe Biden did with student loan debt.
"Ignoring the Supreme Court would simply shine a light on a problem that's been allowed to fester" Davidson told KTRH, "Honestly, the Court has been derelict in it's duty not to correct these lower court judges and fix this problem before it becomes a crisis. And a crisis it has become."
A crisis that judge Clarence Thomas says the U.S. Supreme Court is going to have to fix.
