Houston police are trying to find out who shot and killed a 15-year-old boy Friday night.
Witnesses said the boy took a phone call from someone, which escalated into an argument in East Houston.
Police were called a little after 9 pm to an area along Harbor Street, not far from I-10 at Wayside.
Witnesses told officers that the boy, identified as 15-year-old Christopher Garcia, had been enjoying himself with friends, but when the heated phone call ended, it only took a few minutes for the man on the other end of the call to show up.
That's when, they say, the man shot the boy in what police are calling a drive-by shooting, firing bullets into the vehicle where the boy was sitting.
The teenager was pronounced dead a short time later.
Police are searching for the killer.
