After an all-clear was been given at the Brazoria County Courthouse following a bomb threat that led to an evacuation of the courthouse, downtown Angleton and surrounding areas, the sheriff's office said they found no dangerous materials or devices following multiple sweeps of the courthouse and the area.
But authorities now say that 70-year old Pamela Mccullough, is now considered a person of interest after a multi-agency investigation.
According to our tv partner KPRC 2, she is believed to be transient but frequents Brazoria and Galveston counties.

The Brazoria County Sheriff has advised that the entire downtown Angleton area be evacuated, following a threat at the Brazoria County Courthouse. The BCSO originally posted to Facebook saying, "A threat has been made near the Brazoria County Courthouse, and as a precaution, the courthouse is being evacuated."
That evacuation of the courthouse was followed by an advisory for all of downtown Angleton to be evacuated. There have also been multiple road closures in the area. According to the BCSO, the road closures currently in effect are:
- Live Oak & Velasco
- Magnolia (between Arcola & Velasco)
- Cedar & Arcola
- 288B & Cedar
- CR 274 & Cedar
- CR 274 & Locust
- Magnolia & Velasco
- Magnolia & Front St.
- Magnolia & Chenango
- Arcola & Magnolia
Authorities are continuing to investigate the threat.
Central Elementary School is inside the evacuation area, and according to Angleton ISD, it has been placed on lockdown. They issued the following statement:
"This morning, Central Elementary went into “secure” mode as a safety precaution due to a threat at the nearby Brazoria County Courthouse. Students and staff have been brought into the building and are safe.
"The “secure” mode is one of the district’s emergency response protocols. Students and staff are brought inside the building and all outside doors are locked. No one from outside is allowed inside during the “secure” mode, but the school operates as normal inside."
