British Petroleum To Roll Back Their Green Energy Goals

British Petroleum has recently announced that they're going to be rolling back their green energy plans, and focus more on reliable and profitable fossil fuels. This isn't surprising, when you realize that BP recently reported a $2 billion loss.

Marc Morano with the Climate Depot says this move reflects a simple fact of the energy industry. Green energy just isn't a money maker. He said, "This is a corporate decision to reflect reality, that's what BP is doing here. And they're walking away from the climate agenda."

This isn't the only sign that the green energy movement is coming to an end. Morano pointed out that, "The entire net zero banking alliance set up by the United Nations has lost every member. It certainly seems like this is a major reversal of the entire last several decades of energy policy."

He went on to add that BP is simply reacting to a global trend of rejecting green energy, something that's likely to continue under Trump. He said, "The entire corporate government collusion on this seems to be collapsing globally." He expects more companies to follow BP's example as government subsidies for green energy start to dry up.

Things are so bad for the Green Energy movement that Morano went as far as to say even the radical left-wing green energy activists are slowly starting to realize that they've lost.
