After a long day of debate, the United States House has officially passed the GOP's budget resolution, often called 'the big, beautiful bill,' by President Trump.
The bill was passed by a 217-215 margin, with Kentucky's Thomas Massie being the lone Republicans voting against it. The vote came after everyone was sent home for the day, but called back after House Speaker Mike Johnson discovered they had enough votes to pass.
The bill includes big spending cuts, but would also include no tax on tips, and no taxes on overtime. All Democrats voted against it.
It will now head to the Senate, where that chamber has passed their own budget bill that centers ore around border security, and other things.
