Three people are in Montgomery County hospitals, recovering from gunshot wounds after a man opened fire at a bar in the very early hours of Sunday morning.
Sheriff's deputies say they were called to the Goose's Acre club, where they found two men and a 27-year-old woman with gunshot wounds, and a 27-year-old Houston man who witnesses say started shooting.
The three victims were sent to hospitals, as was the suspected shooter.
That suspect was injured when men in the bar jumped and subdued him after the suspect started shooting.
Names of the suspect and victims have not been released.
In a statement to the press, the Montgomery County Sheriff's Department said, "The suspect is currently in custody, and there is no ongoing threat to the public. We want to reassure the public that we are fully committed to maintaining safety and holding the suspect accountable.”
