It's been a very productive first few weeks as president Donald Trump continues to try and drain the swamp. But there's still a long way to go.
"It's going to be a hard task, this isn't just four years it's forty years of just a ever-growing administrative state" said Richard Manning, president of American's for Limited Government, "Which is now being questioned really for the first time at it's fundamental core."
It's all due to decades of D.C. decline.
"The fact of the matter is, it can be done" Manning told KTRH, "What we're seeing right now is the American public for the first time is really leaning into the idea of cutting the size and scope of government."
And they are learning more and more about it, every single day.
"The Trump administration is really working hard to drain the swamp" noted Manning, "The DOGE effort, the Department of Government Efficiency is really geared to try to make certain that the money that's spent makes sense, and is not wasteful."
All in one DOGE day at a time.
