There's a reason why the U.S. is currently carrying a $36.4 trillion dollar debt, and it includes a whole bunch of wasteful federal grants.
"I think the one that really jumped out at me is the State Department forking over a $100,000 of your taxpayer money for basically, a fun-run through Gaza" said Matt Kittle, writer and senior elections correspondent at The Federalist.
That 'fun-run' by the way, is for Palestinian girls!
"There are so many insane ones" Kittle told KTRH, "Along with running, there is a grant that went out for feminist rock climbing." And don't forget the $1.5 million that was given to Florida State University for black feminist sisterhood building.
That's why Kittle, with some help from Open The Books (OTB), put together the 'dirty dozen' of wasteful federal grants.
"I really wanted to let the American people know there is a reason why president Trump is looking at downsizing the federal government" noted Kittle, "This is exhibit 'A' in waste, and definitely abuse of the public trust."
