How Are ICE Operations Impacting Houston?

As promised, president Donald Trump has already begun rounding up some of the violent illegal aliens that were allowed to waltz in under the Biden-Harris administration. But what impact are the ICE operations having here in Houston?

"There's a lot of disinformation out there that ICE and the authorities are out there rounding up everybody, and that's not the case" said Chris Cabrera, vice president of the National Border Patrol Council.

And that is also the case, here in Houston, where contrary to reports, illegal immigrants are not hiding out or staying away.

"It's unfortunate that some media outlets are taking this and using it as political cannon fodder" Cabrera told KTRH, "It's not happening like it's being reported. If some of these sanctuary cities had held these criminals over for ICE like they were required to do, then we wouldn't be going through this in the first place."

Not only are illegal immigrants not in hiding, they are showing up for work, like normal.

"If you're coming out here to work that's one thing, if you're coming over here to terrorize our citizens that's a whole different one, and that's what we're targeting to get out of here" noted Cabrera.
