Seven San Antonio Police officers were shot and injured on the North Side Wednesday night.
This apparently started as a suicide in progress call, according to SAPD. All of the officers were taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The suspect barricaded himself in an apartment for several hours, and he later was found dead by SWAT officers.
SAPD is expected to provide an update on the officers Thursday morning. Four of the officers have between four and eight years on the job.
