Chip Roy Reintroduces Border Bill That Exposed The Biden-Harris Debacle

With border security a top priority for president-elect Donald Trump and his incoming administration, Texas Congressman Chip Roy (R-TX) has reintroduced a -real- border bill.

"The Border Safety and Security Act" Roy said, "You've got to detain, figure out whatever's going on, and once you do that you can make a decision. Otherwise, you have to turn away. You have to say nope, sorry you're staying in Mexico, you're going back home. And that would transform our system to what it's supposed to be."

Which is not what it's during the last 4 years of the Biden-Harris border debacle, when the U.S. border was left wide open.

"What you can't do is just allow people to flood into our country and release them into the country with some date to appear, 5 years in the future" Roy told KTRH, "That's insane."

Thankfully, the insanity will finally come to an end next week when Trump returns to office.

Roy's bill is a better version of H.R. 2, which Republicans passed in the House in 2023. But the bill was shot down in the Senate.

"You've got to start with what would actually, and truly secure the border, and not to beat around the bush about it" noted Roy, "This would do that."

But before that, Roy says they need to first pass border funding, which will be included in the Republican's Reconciliation Bill right out of the gate.
