Is Faith-Based Media Now Mainstream?

In case you didn't hear, there is a new #1 podcast in the world, and it's not Joe Rogan's. Would you believe it's the Catholic based, "The Rosary In A Year" podcast?

"To see a faith based podcast take over Joe Rogan's spot as #1 is kind of mind boggling, just to even say that out loud" said Jason Romano, founder and host of the faith based 'Sports Spectrum' podcast.

This goes along with the news that Bible sales have skyrocketed. People are searching for God, and they are hungry for the truth.

"I think it shows that there's a real audience out there that's hungry for content that is positive, that brings hope, and that brings truth from a spiritual perspective" Romano told KTRH.

Hopefully, this is a sign that faith-based media is becoming more mainstream.

"I think this is an opportunity for not just that show, but for many shows, even shows like the ones I work on to be able to provide that outlet for people to grow spiritually, and see that there's really great things happening in the world and to encourage them in their faith" noted Romano noted.

Another faith-based podcast that is high on the charts is the Bible Recap, hosted by Tara-Leigh Cobble. Currently, Jason Romano is hosting the Sports Spectrum podcast with former Bears pro-bowl RB Matt Forte.
