Authorities are investigating another armored truck robbery in Houston this month.
The Harris County Sheriff's Office is searching for two men involved in the attempted robbery that happened Friday in northeast Harris County.
Sheriff Ed Gonzalez said the Loomis armored truck driver was taking money into the Food Town store at Pine Forest Shopping Center on Uvalde Road when two men followed him in. They beat and pepper-sprayed him but failed to take the money bag. That's when deputies said a third man went back into the store, beat the driver and then grabbed the money bag.
The suspects then fled the scene in a white vehicle. Investigators believe the suspects to be black males between 18 and 22 years old.
It's the third incident of an armored truck robbery in Houston this month.
