Tom Homan is eager to get to work as President-elect Trump's "border czar."
During an appearance Thursday on Donald Trump Jr.'s show on Rumble, Homan had three words for what he expects out of the Trump administration on day one.
"Shock and awe."
Homan was acting U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement director during Trump's first term as president. Trump announced him as "border czar" for his second term earlier this week.
Homan told Donald Trump Jr. that getting the border secure will be a day one thing at the top of the to-do list for the Trump administration which will result in less "alien crime" and more safety for Americans.
"This isn't just about the deportation operation. This isn't just about saving the children and about securing the border," Homan said.
The results hopefully are "less overdose deaths, less sex trafficking - for God's sake, one of the worst crimes around - less migrants dying," Homan added.
Gangs like MS-13 and Tren de Aragua will be dealt with too.
"You're going to see us take this country back," he said. "I'm excited about coming back serving this country again."
