Harris County Clerk's Office Releases Official Results Of Nov. 5 Election

The Harris County Clerk’s Office posted the official results of the November 5 General and Special Elections on HarrisVotes.com. Harris County Clerk Teneshia Hudspeth thanks everyone who contributed to the successful administration of these elections.

"The November 5 elections were successfully administered through the dedication and commitment of Harris County voters, election workers, and stakeholders," said Harris County Clerk Teneshia Hudspeth. "Everyone played a vital role in ensuring the integrity and accessibility of the voting process, and I’m proud of how smoothly Election Day went."

Data shows that about 59% of Harris County’s 2.66 million registered voters participated in this election. Of the total votes cast, about 75% voted early in person, 4% voted by mail, and 21% voted in person on Election Day. These participation rates are consistent with trends seen in previous elections, reflecting voters’ growing preference for early voting.

Following Election Day and prior to the official canvass, all provisional, military, overseas, and late ballots are processed to finalize the election results. A Runoff Election will be held for the City of Baytown Mayor and Lone Star College System, District 1, on Saturday, December 14, 2024.

"These are important elections, and we encourage all eligible voters who reside in these jurisdictions to participate," added Clerk Hudspeth.
