Even before the election was called, the mainstream media meltdown had already begun, so what will the next four years look like? Right now, they're still just trying to adjust to Trump's landslide victory.

Curtis Houck with the Media Research Center told KTRH, "The prognosticators were wrong again. And it's very similar to how they reacted in 2016, yet different, based on the margins."

Houck says he doesn't think the media will learn from their mistakes, and they'll go right back to attacking Trump and his supporters with their divisive rhetoric. He said, "The media are going to be outrageously negative. I think they know that the American people don't trust them, it's just a matter of whether they actually care."

Houck says that the mainstream media might try to preach unity for a little while, but they'll revert to business as usual within a few months.
