Americans Are Hurt Too By The Gaslighting Surrounding 'Bidenomics'

There seems to be a disconnect between some mainstream media outlets and how Americans are doing financially.

Most surveys show that most Americans are living paycheck to paycheck. However, it's not common to see media outlets portray that to be the case.

According to recent data made available through a joint economic committee in Congress, the average American household is paying nearly $29,000 more since the Biden-Harris administration entered the White House. But, not all data like that is not always represented in what the government puts out.

James Quintero, policy analyst from the Texas Public Policy Foundation, said Americans are still seeing hefty prices at the grocery store and in the cost of housing and other necessities.

"That is an enormous amount of money that each household is having to absorb or having to contend with," Quintero said.

The latest government data only seems to show low unemployment and inflation dropping and doesn't mention the high cost of living. Quintero said this administration is all about gaslighting when it comes to the real effects of 'Bidenomics.'

"Inflation is still high," he said. "There are a lot of doctored statistics being put forward in an effort to cover up the terrible economic environment that we all find ourselves in."

The high prices are affecting everyone. On top of that though, young people getting started in their career are also hurt by the disinformation from the current administration and relayed by media outlets because they aren't unable to afford major things like homes compared to previous generations.

"We are living through elevated spending levels and an inflationary environment and the left wing media is 100 percent complicit in hiding the fact that the economy is terrible," Quintero added.
