Texas Senators Learn That Non-Citizen Voting Is Still A Huge Concern

With one week to go until Election Day, non-citizen voting is still a concern. Even here in Texas.

"These concerns are still there" said Erin Anderson, senior reporter at Texas Scorecard, "That non-citizens are getting on our voter rolls somehow."

It is still happening, even after all of the election integrity upgrades that have taken place since 2020.

At a recent hearing held by the Texas Senate affairs committee, they spent an entire day hearing from election integrity advocates that non-citizen voting is still a huge concern.

"Everybody knows that there are at least some number of non-citizens getting on the voter rolls" Anderson told KTRH, "There have been limited examples of them actually casting votes, people are very aware of the problems and are looking to spot what might happen at the polls."

And for now, it has to be wait and see, because there is nothing more the state senators can do, until after the election.
