Vice President Kamala Harris seemed to agree with a protester who interrupted her at one of her campaign stops last week who accused Israel of genocide.
A keffiyeh-wearing protester interrupted Harris while she was speaking to a small crowd of supporters at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
"I know what you're speaking of. I want a cease-fire. I want the hostage deal done. I want the war to end," Harris said.
"But what about the genocide? What about the genocide though?" the protester asked back.
Video of the exchange shows the man being escorted out of the building and continuing to shout.
"How about the billions of dollars to Israel?" he yelled. "What about the 19,000 children dead, and you won't call it a genocide?"
Harris appears to agree with the protester once he is out of the building and she continues talking to the crowd.
"What he’s talking about, it’s real," she said. "That’s not the subject that I came to discuss today, but it’s real, and I respect his voice."
There have been times before where Harris has appeared to agree with students who tie the Jewish state to genocide.
