FEMA Allegedly Put Border Security Funds Towards Open Border Agenda

It's alleged that FEMA took funding from border security in order to keep open border policies in place.

According to the Center for Renewing America, the Federal Emergency Management Agency has been using funds allocated to U.S. Customs and Border Protection to advance its open borders agenda and keep illegal border crossings consistent. CRA Executive Director Wade Miller went further to say the Biden-Harris administration misled people to believe that CBP had enough money when in reality that funding was being sent to FEMA and illegal immigration never slowed down.

U.S. Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas repeatedly told Americans that FEMA ran out of money during this year's hurricane season. FEMA has been getting heavily criticized for their response to the hurricanes that have hit the southeast region of the country.

Robert Almonte is a former U.S. Marshal for the Western District of Texas and retired Deputy Chief of the El Paso Police Department. An act like this by the Biden-Harris administration comes as no surprise to him.

"It's just more political maneuvering by the current administration to achieve their goals," he said. "It's typical politics."

Almonte, who said he still does ride-alongs with law enforcement officers in southern Texas and Mexico near the border, says the open border is out of control and now the entire country is dealing with illegal aliens, not just Texas.

"Things have gotten a lot crazier, especially over the last four years, and we're seeing the results of that open border," said Almonte.

Even if the border was shut down today, Almonte believes it's "too little, too late" and "the damage has been done." He's hoping law enforcement efforts pick up on a national scale to help capture the criminal illegals in the U.S.
