In what sounds like something out of a spy novel, the CIA has launched a new online recruitment campaign to try and land informants.
"It smacks of desperation to me, honestly" said Max Dribbler, a retired U.S. Army intelligence officer, commenting on the CIA's hope to hire informants in China, North Korea, and Iran.
The online recruitment started last week online, as well as on all of the social media sites and even the dark web. If it weren't true, you might think it was a movie plot.
"Russia, China, and North Korea, you're not just looking for 'Joe' who worked at a ramen factory, you're looking for special skills" Dribbler told KTRH, "You know, at some level it does mimic a movie."
Apparently, the CIA has been very successful, with plenty of informants in Russia, but they're short with our other adversaries.
