A student and a bus driver were injured in a crash involving a Columbia-Brazoria ISD school bus and a dump truck.
The school district said the two were transported to nearby hospitals via LifeFlight. The driver of the dump truck was reportedly not injured. No other injuries have been reported at this time and all other students were evaluated and released to their parents.
The crash happened Thursday morning on Highway 36 at Country Road 353. The Texas Department of Public Safety said the school bus driver drove through a stop sign.
