Texas Rep. Chip Roy, along with 22 other members of the House, is calling on Speaker Mike Johnson to oppose any measures that would force women to register for Selective Service. The inclusion of women in the draft has been debated for years.

Catherine Frazier, political advisor and former Communications Director for Senator Ted Cruz, told KTRH, "There has been a movement in recent years, led by liberal Democrats, to require that women apply for Selective Service."

Frazier says this is part of a left-wing effort to eliminate all definitions of gender. She stated, "It's gone as deep as trying to redefine how our military is run. It's dangerous, it's terrible policy, and it should be fought against."

Frazier argues that drafting women wouldn't be good for the country or military readiness and should be opposed. You can read the full letter from Rep. Chip Roy here.
