In his first full cabinet meeting in 11 months, President Joe Biden immediately turned the attention to his wife, Jill, who was sitting at the head of the table for the meeting this week.
“I’d like to turn it over to Jill for any comments she has," said President Biden. "It’s all yours, kid.”
According to Axios, Jill Biden joined the meeting to give an update on "the White House's initiative on women's health research." Plenty of political consultants have accused the First Lady of "running the show" at the White House.
During the presidential debate between Donald Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris, Trump asked who was really running the country and why Joe Biden had been absent on vacation for so long in August and September.
"Where is our President?" he asked. "We don't even know if he's the President."
It's possible the meeting of top White House officials was one of the last cabinet meeting's Biden will have as President of the United States.
