China Could Use Cargo Cranes To Hijack American Ports

China continues to get more aggressive globally, and they're also trying to gain more control over America by gaining remote access to cargo cranes. The Chinese Communist Party could steal data from the cranes, or worse.

China expert and author Gordon Chang told KTRH, "A great concern is that they could remotely operate these cranes, and therefore disrupt these port operations at critical times."

Chang says the Port of Houston, which is the busiest port in the United States in terms of overall tonnage, could already be a target. He said, "I'm sure that China has already been taking data from Houston's cranes. But at a wartime, or other critical moment, China could disrupt port operations."

Chang says that Biden could take executive action to solve the problem, but so far, there hasn't been much done.
