The 8-year-old boy with autism that went missing Saturday morning was found dead in a lake Sunday morning.
The Fort Bend County Sheriff's Office said Ryan Akagbusi was found by a Texas EquuSearch team near his last known location.

The Fort Bend County Sheriff's Office is seeking help in locating a missing juvenile, Ryan Akagbusi.
He is described as a nonverbal 8-year-old black male that is approximately 5 foot tall, weighing 75 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. Ryan was last seen wearing a lilac t-shirt with underpants on in the 19900 block of Kendall Lake Drive in Richmond, Fort Bend County, Texas, at 4:30AM on August 24, 2024.
Although Ryan is nonverbal, he will respond to his name.
