A new study from Harvard University shows that celebrities can have a significant impact on elections, and the Democrats have gone all in on that strategy. Unfortunately, that doesn't make for a very informed voter base.

Political Analyst Vlad Davidiuk told KTRH, "They're promoting policies and candidates that have no basis in logic, history, or fact, based purely on emotions and their personal perspective."

Davidiuk says that while these celebrity endorsements don't necessarily flip large numbers of voters, they bring in enough to make a difference in tight races like the November presidential election. He said, "It's a very small sliver of the electorate. But when elections are so tight, every little bit of those margins can help."

Davidiuk also mentioned that Democrats are likely using their celebrity spokespeople as smoke and mirrors to help hide their flawed policies.
