Walz attended march with anti-ICE protestors in 2018

Democrats' vice presidential Tim Walz attended a march in 2018 with protesters calling for ICE to be abolished, according to a report from the Washington Examiner.

The march happened in June of 2018 in downtown Minneapolis. At the time, the Governor of Minnesota said he did not support abolishing the immigration enforcement agency, but instead hoped to see it reformed.

In the same year, Walz said he supported Minnesota being a "sanctuary" state. He also has supported legislation that provided free services like healthcare and college tuition to illegal immigrants.

Walz is also facing criticism for lying about his military record and for repeatedly hosting a Muslim cleric who celebrated the events of Oct. 7 when Israel was attacked by Hamas.
