Hard to believe, but it's been 14 years since the passage of the ACA - aka 'Obamacare'. And yet even now, far too many Americans say that health care is still un-affordable.
So whatever happened to the affordable?
"Affordable was destroyed by the Affordable Care Act" said Rob Henneke, executive director with the Texas Public Policy Foundation.
Instead, the ACA has resulted in broken promises, and a broken health care system.
"The broken promises of Barack Obama" Henneke told KTRH, "If you like your doctor, you can keep your doctor, it's going to lower monthly premiums by $2,500 dollars. All of that was a lie, the Democrats knew it was a lie at the time. We have to hold the left accountable."
And while premiums and deductible's have continued to go up, coverage has gone way down. As many as 214,000 doctors have opted out of 'Obamacare'.
"The mandates and regulations in the Affordable Care Act is what have made health care more expensive in the past 14 years, since this terrible law went into effect" noted Henneke.
It's also worth noting that Americans spend more on health care than other nations.
