FBI Director Christopher Wray is testifying now before the House Oversight committee on the investigation into the July 13th attempted assassination of former President and GOP Nominee Donald Trump.
When asked by Florida Representative Matt Gaetz about whether the shooter was on the FBI's radar prior to July 13th, Director Wray responded, "We've run a thorough search for the subject through all of our holdings, and he was not in them anywhere."
Wray's testimony is began at 9:00 am CST. The hearing aims to examine the FBI's investigation into the attempted assassination, as well as the ongoing politicization of the Federal Bureau of Investigation under Director Wray and Attorney General Merrick Garland.
