The FBI confirms to KTRH that it is leading a sweeping court-authorized law enforcement operation this morning targeting numerous alleged criminals throughout Houston and Harris County.
In a statement to KTRH, Public Affairs Officer Connor Hagan said, "To execute this massive operation, FBI Houston agents are partnering with Houston police officers, Harris County Sheriff's deputies, US Marshals Service deputies, and Texas Department of Public Safety troopers to safely conduct dozens of arrests at multiple locations. Tactical teams from FBI Houston, FBI New Orleans, FBI San Antonio, the Harris County Sheriff's Office, the Houston Police Department, and Texas DPS are also assisting. At this time, there is no threat to public safety.
